August 2015 – Harvest
Harvest began at 2 am on Friday, August 28th. Paul Sloan, our Vigneron, inspects our grapes.
On the sorting table, Luis, Greg, Paul, and Byron are focused on ensuring only the best clusters make it through the line.
Finished with the de-stemming process, Paul inspects the berries while Luis explains the process to our friend, Mary.
Finally, a year’s worth of work comes together, and the berries begin the fermentation process.
